He claimed those two self-funded social programs, not his huge tax cut for billionaires and corporations, have caused the ballooning deficit.

Vote wisely, America.

As for #2 and #3: those two white elephants aren't going anywhere.

And, #1, GOD it's about time! How much tax money needs to be flushed down the toilet before we give up on the witch hunt? I understand that it was all to placate the leftists who were threatening to riot in the streets, but let them. Let them continue until they start breaking laws and then take appropriate "measures." As Grady said in The Shining: they need to be... corrected.

What does the Republican Party in 2018 have to offer the American people?

Enslavement...same as the Democratic Party.

The same thing the Democratic Party has been offering for years, absolutely nothing but empty promises. I wonder how long most of America is going to continue to believe them.

I see a lot of pandering to people that aren’t citizens ( Russians and Saudis ) . I see them pandering to criminals they want prison sentences lowered and in some cases that don’t even want people to go to prison .

They want to destroy Social Security and Medicare as well .

I just don’t see what they have to offer to average working Americans that follow the laws and just want to live a decent life .

Please let me know what the Republican Party actually has to offer in 2018 ?
Simple. They don't prioritize the replacement of the American people with foreigners. Most of them will go along with it if they can make a buck, but with a lot of pressure from the voters we've been able to shut down the most extreme/amnesty and immigration acceleration bills of the last 10 years.

The Republican party has everything to offer an individual who wishes to break free from slavery.

They are not crazy, left wing, socialist Democrats. Until the Democrats move back to the center I will not consider them for ANY position.

Ha!

The Democrats are pro-capitalist and anti-worker just like the Republicans. The Democrats are willing to throw the working classes a bone with social security and Medicare; but that’s hardly “crazy, left wing socialism.”

This is bunk: the purpose and goal of democracy isn't to use the government's monopoly on the legal use of force to benefit one group at the expense of another; it is to educate all of us on what we all have to lose via the misuse of that power.

Because when there's not enough bread to go around, the Leftist solution is to ration bread; the real solution is to bake more of it.

And the finest of our nation's success stories span multiple generations; the immigrant who came here four generations ago found a steady job in the industrial sector; the next rose in the ranks, or maybe taught; the next might have founded and grown a business, or entered the professions; and so on.

But the biggest traitors to their education and their heritage are those who prey upon illegal immigration in the pursuit of cheap, demeaning personal service; and most of those admired by our shallow, entertainment-happy society are out there in Deep Left Field.

Social Security and Medicare don't need to be cut, but they need to be reformed to thwart the fantasies of spoiled, overgrown children seeking to parlay a worthless liberal arts degree into a "career" in the public sector, and an early taxpayer-funded pension (and maybe with a generous supply of legal marijuana along the way).
