Democrats must like losing. If Hillary runs in 2020, Trump is guaranteed another 4 years.

When will dems learn?

The 12th Amendment to the Constitution says: "No person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

A Hillary/Bernie 2020 run would be welcomed by Republicans.

It's not a fact......and it's clearly open to interpatation and challenge.

I think the Dems have learned even if Hilary hasn't. They will shut her down in short order if she tries to make a run. The question now is whether they will field a centrist or a leftist. I believe a centrist or center/left candidate would beat Trump if he runs (and I'm doubting that he will at this point) or anyone the Pubs would put up. I think a leftist candidate like Elisabeth Warren would lose.

Exactly, the founding fathers believed in a Republic, not a Democracy. In fact they had utter contempt for pure democracy
