I think we will need the definition of "glass ceiling" that the OP is using.

If it is failing to achieve the US Presidency, that's one thing; and if that's the OP's definition, fine. Ignore the rest of my remarks.

But it seems to me that Ms. Clinton has achieved a lot in her lifetime, and has likely broken a few glass ceilings. Wellesley College, Yale Law School, a successful lawyer, US Senator, US Secretary of State--no, she wasn't the first woman at any of these (remember, Wellesley is a women-only school), but they are pretty impressive achievements for anybody; much less a woman.

If "breaking the glass ceiling" means only that a woman failed to be elected as US President, then millions of American women fail at it. But if it means that women today are doing things that nobody imagined they would do, once upon a time, then they--including Ms. Clinton--have broken many glass ceilings.

IMHO, this poll is semantically flawed. It should more accurately be worded as, "Why does Hillary Clinton continue to fail at becoming the US President?"

She's failing because she is corrupt and a lousy candidate, lousy campaigner and a liar with no platform. Not because she is a woman. You can't break a glass ceiling with a piece of crap.

She's a loser without a single life accomplishment of any significance.

1. As first lady, she was sold as the "co-president" and given the job of reforming healthcare. Her proposed bill was so Orwellian that even some Dems rebelled, and then they lost Congress for the next twelve years, and most of the next twenty-four. Subsequently, she was shoved in a closet with a muzzle and only brought out to degrade her husband's rape victims.

2. Hand picked and walked into a Senate seat by Daniel Patrcik Moynahan. When challenged by Trump to name her accomplishments with the seat, she named helping fireman and expanding healthcare for kids in New York, which are nice, but hardly presidential or even senatorial. Could not name single thing of national consequence.

3. Given the consolation prize of Secretary of state, where she listed as her accomplishments the Russian reset, Libya, and Iraq. That can all speak for itself.

4. And yes, she was absolutely rolled by two political novices because she does not even understand the electoral processes of the country that she presumes to lead.

The woman is a dullard, pure and simple. The idea of Hillary as the smartest person in the room is ENTIRELY a media fiction. There is no shred of truth to it. The truth is she is an empty pantsuit, and I hope that all of you libs, dim bulbs that you are in the first place, have at least learned this much.

Trump lovers will absolutely refuse to let go. They will still be changing "lock her up", during his 2020 campaign for reelection.

So what?

No one is asking you to not let go.

Why do you care what someone you don't know does or doesn't do (it doesn't effect you) ?
