Here in AZ (arguably the friendliest gun state) we also can carry concealed or open without a permit. But its prohibited to carry any firearm 75 ft of polling places. Even 75ft is questionable in some polling places here. We absolutely dont want any form of intimidation whatsoever. Most of the polling places here have police officers, so there's really no need for me to be armed to vote.
Patriotism has NEVER been easy, convenient, safe or popular, there will always be some potential risk of danger or harm when exercising ones patriotic duties, thats what makes it patriotic in the first place...if there were absolutely no risk of danger of harm, it wouldnt really be 'patriotic' to begin with. Its a 2 way street.
Do you think twice about going to the grocery store, the mall or the movie theater where people have Glocks and .357 Magnums? If you have that much irrational fear of law abiding citizens, perhaps you should consider professional help.
To be fair, BentBow readily admitted he doesn't follow any law he finds (as a non Justice) unconstitutional. And he's "armed to the teeth".
I don't have to worry about it.
I vote in an assisted living center full of old folks, and there are enough guns in that joint to make an arsenal. Granny's got a gun is a real thing here. A few elections back, a nice old lady showed me her cute pink Lady Smith. It was the same color as her hair, her fuzzy slippers and her poodle.
If someone started a gunfight there, they wouldn't have just the old folks to contend with; in 30 seconds the whole neighborhood would join in the fray.
If trouble was to break out there, the only thing I'd worry about is being caught in the crossfire.
No one gets to tell you to shut up
No one gets to tell you what to believe
No one gets to tell you how to protect your family, your property and yourself personally
No one gets to snoop into your articles
No one can force you to bear false witness
No one is guilty, by accusation
Guess what you have, that protects your word, "NO"
I don't have to worry about it.

Well that sounds terrifying. They're in an assisted living home because they need assistance for every day living. And we're going to trust them to fire a gun in the correct situation and in the correct direction?
Trump inherited a society, with a YUGE wedge driven into it over the last 28 years.
In 2 years he has exposed the division and the cause, not just the symptoms.
