I assume Don Lemon is a bright man and a good journalist. I think he should've known better.
I just don't know the purpose of this kind of "talk".
Maybe he should try to put himself in other people's shoes? Replace the words "white men" with Muslims, blacks, minorities, gays, he can clearly see there is a big problem.

The problem is that some people think it is okay to be racist against "white men" and to an extent "Christians" while wrong against every other race/religions. The new normal. My poor son.

I always think in order to achieve complete equality, you have to have one rule for ALL, or no rule at ALL.
Otherwise, equality is just some buzz word.

I agree. I am raising my young children that everyone is equal. Unfortunately, it seems, some people seem to think my 6 year old son should pay a price for actions of others he had no control over.
I will say though.. this young generation seems to be very multi cultural with no real preconceived notions. My sons best friends are white, black, Spanish, Japanese, Indian... Christian, Jewish... (he is Jewish)… they get along because of common interests like sports, not because of the way they look.
I hope this new younger generation will not be tainted by the adults who want to ruin the world.

The same people who hate Christians will lament the shooting over the weekend and feign concern over Jews and other religious groups
