They do hand out Christian children's books with their kids' meals. Or at least they did when my kids were young. It doesn't offend me, but I can see how some would not want that. If I didn't want my kids getting those, I'd simply pull them out before giving my child the meal. I really think that for a party who routinely accuses those on the other side of being easily triggered snowflakes, they sure do make much ado about nothing.
They've been doing this for years. It is nothing new. They aren't making a stand or reacting to politics or trying to be exclusive. It's how they run the business.
By introducing politics into a business as to reacting to how the wind blows, companies are actively looking to persuade people. There's intent.
If you're triggered by Chik fil a? Don't go there. They aren't actively trying to offend. Quite frankly, they treat everyone who walks in with respect. Employees are pleasant. The places are clean. If you don't want to go, don't go. But no one should be surprised when they walk in.
If they are trying to support illegal immigration, I won't buy their ice cream anymore. I don't believe everyone has the right to come to America and be granted automatic citizenship. I also don't know of any country in the world who grants automatic citizenship to anyone who arrives into their country so I don't know why America is expected to do so.
