How 'brave' of her.

Getting viral attention is worth more than her cheerleading salary, obviously.

A San Francisco 49ers cheerleader took a knee during the national anthem prior to Thursday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.

The cheerleader who has not been identified has not spoken publicly about her motives.

Why are you making silly assumptions? She is going to lose her job, obviously. She knelt for something she felt strongly about and will lose a prestigious position (for her) as a result. Yea, that's brave, and certainly something you are not 'brave' enough to risk.

I dont think her $1200 season salary prancing around half naked with pom-poms is going to bother her.

They don't even get paid.... Or the pocket change she do get she should be able to do what she wants without anybody hassling her.

ohh... the irony. Unless you are in her mind or you are God(and you aren't either) you don't know why she did it and are making an assumption yourself.
Whatever the reason she says she did, she obviously could be lying.

Kneeling in public during the national anthem speaks volumes about her motives to me, loud and clear.

And claiming later that she didn't mean to slight her country, speaks even more loudly. Not only does she have contempt for the U.S., but she's an arrogant liar who thinks normal Americans are stupid enough to believe her fib.

I think that kneeling during the National Anthem is just rude, however if it is a form of free speech, this cheerleader has the right to kneel if she chooses. Weather I agree with her or not.

Yep. And I just pointed out exactly what her free speech says about her.

By the way, her job is to entertain the fans in a safe and positive way. If she deliberately and knowingly refuses to do her job, her employer has rights too. Including the right to terminate her employment. Or maybe move her to a job more suited to her, such as emptying spit buckets and cleaning out the locker room toilets after the game.

That doesn't even make sense.
