After the left's treatment of Trump, how do they expect conservatives to treat any Democrat Presidents? How about their Supreme Court Nominees? If Sotamayor and Kegan were treated in similar fashion to Kavanaugh, would the left have applauded the process?
Just food for thought. God knows that Obama, Sotomayor, and Kegan had past behavior that would been very fertile ground for personal attacks on them, yet they were not levied in the fashion metered out current republicans. Why not?

Where have you been hiding ? The Republicans treated Obama and his family like crap. They were called every name in the book, ugly comments made about Michelle, and fabrications about Obama not being an American.
GOP Senators fought Obama every step of the way, not letting him pass a lot of the things he was trying to do for America. Even today, you see the mud slinging that Trumpees still throw at Obama, and he has been gone for almost two years.
Just like a lot of us have no use for Trump, a lot of people on the Right hate everything to do with Obama.
I don’t know about this premise. Obama was constantly lit up on talk radio and fox and the like. Every day I drove by groups of people with “honk to impeach Obama” signs. And his very moderate and well respected Supreme Court nominee wasn’t even given a chance.

You should be asking a different question: After the GOP's disgraceful contempt for courtesy and tradition, how to they expect to be allowed any voice whenever the Dems again have the upper hand? For instance, their disgraceful stonewalling of Obamas' SCOTUS nominee?
By the way, Kavanaugh disgraced himself. The Dems just asked pointed questions, instead of the Republican softballs. Apart from the Blasey Ford accusation (and I'd wonder how you'd feel if it was your wife-girlfriend-daughter making the accusations), he'd been lying under oath, showed openly partisan bias, and was unable to control his temper. He showed himself unfit for office. He couldn't have passed an interview as a Walmart clerk, acting like that.
And, since your tagline says "There is no excuse for ignorance" - I'll point out that it's Kagan and Sotomayor.
