Student visas.

The sisters, a brother and their mother arrived in the US in 2015. They lived in Virginia. They reportedly went missing in September. Girls travelled using credit cards. There is recent video of them shopping. No signs of distress.

Fox News reporting the Saudi Embassy ordered the family to return to Saudi because the sisters had applied for political asylum in the US.

How can you be pretty sure it was not suicide?

Beyond that there was no obvious signs of trauma, nothing else is known.

They lived in Virginia. The girls and their brother were here on student visas. Mom was the guardian.

Uhhh.... sorry but Christianity hasn't been killing people for several centuries now....the Crusades were over in 1291.

Islam on the other hand, has yet to drag itself out of the dark ages.

“ These kinds of people”?

Were you personally acquainted with them? Please share what you know about them. In what way were they incompatible?

They were here legally, on student visas.

There is no ban on travel from Saudi.

Correct. But mindless conspiracy theories are stubborn things.

Credit card usage shows they travelled to DC, then Philadelphia and then NYC.

They stayed at nice hotels, shopped and ordered take out meals for 2. Reportedly, they maxed out their credit cards.

Fox News reported they sought political asylum and the Saudi Embassy ordered the family to retire to Saudi.

Because I had never heard of two suicides duct-taping themselves together. But I am no expert, and the experts are saying that appears to be what they did.
