Fake. They had a plan, which didn't get passed thanks to McCain (good riddance).

Republicans who aren’t that well to do will be the first ones affected. How can you argue with a cultist? They will find out the hard way if the Republicans get in again and they will be the first ones to cry.

[quote=Volobjectitarian;53522761]The federal government ordering insurance companies to violate the most fundamental rule of actuary defined risk mitigation is something that should be challenged and undone.

The preexisting condition mandate in combination with the community rating mandate essentially is a federal mandate to destroy the entire private health insurance industry. The federal government engineering the destruction of an entire industry should be challenged.

What should have happened to avoid all this is allow private insurers to cover who they want at whatever rates their actuaries set according to risk and profitability models, and the people denied insurance for whatever reason petition the "insurer of last resort" to jump on the Mediwelfare rolls or whatever the government chooses to call being the insurer of last resort.

But the Democrat had their filibuster proof majority in the Senate and knew they could hammer home anything they wanted via bureaucratic machination, so we got the ham fisted mandates that are meant wreck the private insurance industry.

And all of it should be challenged, as all affronts to property rights, free markets and liberty ought to be.[/QUO

^^
This.

Republicans currently have a number of lawsuits attempting to end pre existing condition coverage requirements.

Republicans have voted dozens of times to repeal pre existing coverage protection.

the only reason repubs are currently lying and pretending they love ACA, is because polling shows even repub voters want ACA to continue, just as long as it is not called Obamacare they really really want it.

remember Ferd, most repubs are not wealthy successful Americans, because most Americans are not wealthy or successful, most is in about 80% are just getting by and do not have the resources to deal with sudden major issues without using retirement funds etc...

it is a myth that americans are doing great, most are not. Most are grinding it out.

So you want to double-down on promoting misery of human beings? That is not a solution, that is revenge.

All bla bla bla bla liberal talking points.

The ACA was created by the Democrats and it's an utter disaster. The only positive thing is the pre-existing coverage and surprise, surprise that's what the Democrats are running. Not on HC cost running out of control, sky high deductibles, you can keep your doctor, etc.

And we are supposed to vote Democrat for HC purposes? Those Democrats who wants to introduce single payer?

Give me a break.

The GOP wants to dismantle the ACA and they're using the courts to do so. The pre-existing coverage is here to stay, and you know it.

medical coding takes care of that, can make things the same or different
