This is SO true. The Dems are already going to great lengths to nominate someone who will make many people think "What the..." causing them to not vote or vote for the adulteror in chief.
Adulterer in chief???
Are you talking about Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy or Johnson? (I'm sure there are more)
It really doesn't matter how much they bash Trump.
It doesn't matter if he's not sufficiently "Presidential".
It doesn't matter what he Tweets.
It doesn't even matter that many on the Right don't like Trump either.
None of that will make anyone who voted for Trump in 2016 vote for a Liberal Democrat in 2020.
Seems you're the only one who expected that was even a possibility. It's OK. Trumplings are a minority.

Y'all have gone so far to the Left on too many issues that you have permanently lost Mom and Pop America. When you abandoned the middle for the lunatic fringe and illegal immigrants....you abandoned America.

And you actually think it's good riddance.
Not necessarily. Politics is not black and white, contrary to popular belief. People switch party affiliations all the time. I was reading an NYT article that discussed the undecideds and how they chose to vote. Several of them voted for the opposite party this time than they had in 2016. And it went both ways; some voted Republican who had voted Democrat, and some voted Democrat who voted Republican. They explained their reasons. It was very enlightening.

Probably one of the most shortest and most concise assessments I've heard on here.
I've been saying the same thing, btw.
I'm not a right wing partisan, I'm center and slight left and I get it.
If the dims double down on all of the fringe boutique issues and don't get straightened out on illegal immigration they are going to lose again in 2020.
Or anyone who voted for him over Hillary and would vote for him over any Left Wing Democrat such as Elizabeth Warren etc......
If it's the latter, y'all are in for another big disappointment.
