The democrat party needed a scapegoat for losing an election that should not have been lost under and circumstances. So after bragging about Russian resets, telling Mitt Romney that the 80s want their foreign policy back, and telling Medvedev that there will be more leeway after the election (of 2012) the party of traitors has declared that the Russians were the bad guys all along, the brick-stupid coolaid drinkers who vote for them believe it.

Trump never liked them, which is why he had been harder on them than any president since the end of the Cold War. But no, he is not going to get us in a war with them. That will come if there is a democrat in 2020.

Russia was one of our first allies. Americans betrayed Russia because we love war and death.

Wars are never started by the average citizen of any country, it is always the leaders. The typical Russian person has the same hopes and dreams as any of us, but they have zero control over what their government and, more specifically, Putin does.

The regular Russian citizen isn't the one doing election tampering, genocide , or invading other countries. Like us, they could care less, but it is not their call.

We did betray them.

But we are talking countries and differing types of government..... not sure why the OP thinks just because they are white we should get along.

Remnants of the Cold War and people on both sides who can't let it go. Putin wants to revive the Soviet Union and some leaders here seem just as eager for that old foe, it was great for the Military Industrial Complex, and Governments have always pointed to some foreign enemy to help unify their people and keep control over them. A common enemy is a great unifier, i think it is human nature that unfortunately can never be changed. Trump is evil to unify the Dems, the Dems want Socialism to unify Republicans, the Yankees are great, screw the Red Sox. We do it for everything.

Don, our government commits far more atrocities than Putin could ever dream of.

Why don't you hold them accountable?

Fight to stop progress of the silk road project being connected to the mediterranean?

Fight to stop an oil/gas pipeline being built that runs through a host of countries you don't have a puppet government installed?

Fight to stop an oil/gas pipeline because a group of US/British investors/ corporations want to build an alternate pipeline and they would lose their investment?

Fight to keep Russia and China from abandoning the dollar and holding it in their reserves?

Hopefully in the future the masses become enlightened enough that signing a contract to join the military will be in some ways similar to signing an NFL or NBA contract with many cluases attached

When the soldier/military member is posed with a situation to fight that actually doesn't serve the greater good or benefits a small group of people's monetary interests --- they just say NO and walk away.

If Trump and his administration declared War on Russia and told the nation that we needed to reenact the draft --- how far does anyone believe they would get? If Obama had done the same thing - how far would he would he have gotten?

Personally, I think we're coming to the point where some would actually laugh at them for being so ridiculous, while others would firmly just say no and quitely stand their ground.

Would the folks who are attending Trump rallies just drop their drawers and change into a military uniform if Trump told them to? Would they hand their children over to the military to fight the Russians?

I don't think most of them would......and it's a good bet that most would abandon him.

Why Russia? Actually, it was because of western Europe. Only keeping Russia an enemy can keep western Europe as allies. Western Europe are "whites" too, but there were WWI-II, and others deeply divided into many countries. That will never change.
