She said that about TPP

You are deeply confused.

If your congress reps never bother to read bills, then the appropriate excuse is to say "I don't know what's in it". It is a retarded excuse, but an excuse nonetheless.

She was talking about the ACA, not TPP. Moreover, she said that Congress would have to pass it so Americans could see what benefits were in the ACA, not that Congress should vote on it without seeing the text of the ACA. In fact, the final bill incorporated over 100 amendments requested by Republicans and there was a significant amount of engagement and input on both sides of the aisle. Ultimately, no Republican voted for the final version of the bill, but that wasn't because its text was hidden from anyone.

Correct. It is silly Republicans argue Dems wrote the bill, but didn't read it.

This thread is about TPP and soybeans and has now migrated to ACA because someone is THIS uninformed???? No wonder Trump loves the uneducated.

The farmers got what they deserved. They, with their votes, are responsible for their current predicament.

I have no hate for farmers. I merely pointed out their part in their present plight.

Far more farmers vote Republican red. We are constantly reminded of this when some posters show the maps with the rural counties where farms are located painted red for their vote. Outside of CA, nearly all the states with large agricultural and livestock economies voted for Trump. Using their terms, they have reaped what they sowed.

Extremely dense logic. In rural areas most of the people live in town anyway.

I've never heard a farmer say reap what you sow. Only movies and politics.

So you're glad that more of our tax dollars are being pumped into supporting farmers. Ok.....
