This election is viewed widely as a referendum on Trump. Will Trump's statements have any effect on how you vote?

Why? Midterms are usually against the incumbent... Was it a referendum against Obama and Bill Clinton to? Historically, if Trump pulls out a win, it would mean something but a loss really doesn't mean anything...

When it comes to politicians, I dont put too much stock in their words, but rather their actions.

You sound like Trump, he is back peddling and hedging his bets already. He is saying that the left may retake the House. If you think a loss will not mean anything, you are kidding yourself. It will mean people are tired of his nonsense and that disgust is carrying over to GOP candidates who are on his team.

Tomorrow should be very interesting.

It should be a blowout for the Democrats. I keep hearing about this blue wave that's going to wipe-out both House and Senate of Republicans. Lets see if that's going to happen.

I really hope so, but there are a lot of people who are diehard Republicans and who would vote for Satan himself, if he was a conservative Republican. I live in Florida, and I hope Gillum wins as Governor, but it is close. I also hope Beto wins in Texas, Cruz has been there way too long as it is.

But, after the debacle we saw in the last Presidential race, you never know how it is going to go, especially when so many people are angry and disgusted.

The fact that this midterm election still completely revolves around Trump despite the fact that he isn't running for office should demonstrate the boundless depths of Trump's narcissism and the dysfunction of our political climate.

I'll express it this way:

I put slightly (very slightly!) more credence in the deceits of one loner -- however wealthy and well-connected, than I do in the deceits peddled for the past eighty-five years by a well-organized petty-criminal fraternity which directs many of its appeals to the basest instincts of some of the lowest, least-motivated and least-conscientious among us.

We need stronger standards of education, responsibility and citizenship to qualify for the right to vote; and I'll offer no apology for that position.

Personally I think its great that he's out there. Anything to keep Obama/Hillary underlings from recapturing any position, and start freeing Terrorists and destroying other countries again. By comparison Trump has made America a much more peaceful country
