No, all sane people (regardless of ideology) will say Trump is not responsible for every natural disaster, lightning strike, starving child, or the bad actions of every human being on earth, no matter how remote.

Yet those with TDS will see that Trump commands armies across the world, and is responsible for every death, both human and animal alike.

No, we will say that when Trump pushes anti-democratic / pro-authoritarian language, those sympathetic to it will sit up and take notice.

Similarly, when he initially hems and haws on white supremacists, those sympathetic to it will sit up and take notice.

And when he says elections are fraudulent (without evidence), or that journalists are the enemies of America, or talks in his rallies about wanting to beat up critics, those sympathetic to that will sit up and take notice.

We used to have Presidents who tried to support the principles of those sympathetic to democracy, not dictatorship. They would advocate tolerance for differences, openness to differing opinions & free speech, and minimization of lethal government action. Trump adcocates minimization of tolerance for different kinds of Americans, shutting down critics, and maximal government retaliation against perceived opponents.

Yes, Obama and Hillary may have been bad. Yes, the GDP growth last quarter may have looked good. But my point is that you can't support Donald Trump and call yourself a friend of democracy when he really undermines it at every opportunity.

Trump is amazing and really powerful. He gets blamed for hurricanes, wildfires, anti semitic violence committed by a dem, and violence in Nigeria. Incredible!

In other news, if you find a grizzly bear in the woods, it's a bad idea to run up to it and start punching it in the face.

And yeah, apparently Trump is now officially God. He can make anyone anywhere do anything. He's basically controlling Russia, China, the United States, Nigeria ... pretty much everyone. He can speak a few short words and millions will spontaneously die, and for no other reason than because he spoke the words. Amazing how much control he has over humanity.
They don't call him God Emperor Trump for nothing.

American soft power took decades to create and brought untold economic benefit to the United States. Yet in just 2 short years, Trump has managed to seriously erode American soft power while ceding the geopolitical bully pulpit to economic upstarts like China.

Easily undoable policy like immigration and tax reform are small beer in the big picture of American history. The retreat of America on the global economic scene ultimately will hasten its relative demise and, IMO, will be the real legacy that Trump leaves when historians review this Presidency decades from now.

I have to agree.

People seem incensed that people who are deliberately attacking you and putting you in danger with their force are being forcefully stopped.

Wtf.
