I have seen recent stories where young black kids, who are not even teenagers, are held at gunpoint handcuffed by police over SUSPICION of having committed some crime alleged by a caller. I then read hundreds of comments by whites saying that the police acted properly and that just because they are under 12 does not mean that they can't be hardened criminals.
My point? You can't have it both ways. You can't be ok with black innocence being downtrodden then have a problem with white innocence being down trodden. Black people are also asking "where does it end" when they are assumed to be hardened criminals and stopped and detained by the police, if not falsely convicted.
Translation: Since some white people have commented that police abuse of power with regard to black males is justified - none of the rest of us whites who didn't comment that way can complain about police abuse of power with regard to white folks.

The article stated that it had been recorded by the police as a crime even though the police decided not to take further action.
The woman was also questioned under caution, in other words she was read her rights which in the UK are slightly different to the US Miranda Rights -
"You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence".
