So despite months of hoopla from the always crooked MSM, and 100s of Millions spent by Political parties, not much has changed.
Trump trades "Never Trumper" Paul Ryan for Democrat Nancy Pelosi. - US House stays pretty much the same otherwise.
Pelosi has a tenuous grasp on US House. Margins aren't enough to push through any mandates and close enough where she truly has to worry about some crossing the line.
Trump now has a US Senate which will fully support whatever he wants. All confirmations will pass easily now for the next two years. Democrats better hope that Ginsburg's health holds out.
Kavanaugh cost the Democrats the chance to take both houses and house with big margins. They won't try that again.
Nancy Pelosi won't allow any impeachment proceedings to proceed - Democrats will be furious about this, but won't risk putting another Democrat up against her.
Big problem for Democrats though. The 2020 race starts this day. The Democrats blew their entire wad on this and they still don't have anyone to take on Trump.
So yeah. The 2018 election was a big nothing burger as much as the MSM wants to say it was the "most important election in history".

Yesterday was no overwhelming win for the Democrats but they did what they needed to do - take back the House by a decent margin. If you think all this means is trading purportedly never-Trumper Paul Ryan for Nancy Pelosi, you are sadly mistaken. Oversight committees will now be headed and controlled by Democrats. The budget is controlled by Democrats.
This was no disaster for the Republicans, primarily because of some great campaigning by the Florida GOP. But you're not paying attention if you think this is "no big deal" or a win for Republicans or Trump.
You got me there Waldo. And your tyrant boss will cram it down our throats whether we like it or not. Many an unsuspecting female companion have learned that lesson over the years I am sure.

Maybe you should re-read the OP. I didn't declare a winner.
I said it was no big deal in general. House Democrats are powerless to get anything accomplished without the Senate, and it's you guys all along that said that Trump couldn't get anything passed. It's the same status quo.
I'm betting that Nancy Pelosi is going to run the same ship that Ryan ran. Trump gets a real punching bag, but I'm guessing he will also pull his punches here too.
They will leave the investigations to the DOJ, and do what they can to score points for 2020.
