Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison has been elected as the state Attorney General, fending off his Republican opponent in an election mired with domestic abuse allegations.

Ellison, the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, defeated Republican Doug Wardlow and his ambitious run to become the first Republican state attorney general in nearly half a century. Ellison was once seen as the comfortable favorite in the race, but his campaign was thrown into turmoil when his former girlfriend accused him in August of physical and emotional abuse when they dated.

Here is yet another good reason to stop stupid people from voting. The problem is, it never stops. Only folks that own property should be allowed to vote

That just coincidentally has one of the highest quality of life indicators among the states. The quality of life in that state is truly "embarrassing". The cleanliness, job growth, parks......totally an embarrassment of liberalism gone amok.

The idiots here will vote for any DFL troll. Besides being a serial abuser of women he's also dumb as a box of rocks.

They also elected Dean Phillips who is nothing but a Mommy's boy who sold everything his Dad built just to live the life of a rich guy (never did a day of work in his life and accomplished nothing) and then he decided he wanted to get into politics. It's just disgusting.

Translation: If the GOP cannot win, change the rules so they can without effort.

You lost that one. Get over it.

Celebrate the Senate wins you got.

True. MN was in Hillary's corner in 2016, and Obama's, before that.

Ellison's election here is about as surprising as liberal fossil Dianne Feinstein's re-election in CA.

No doubt. They fact we also elected Angie Craig over Jason Lewis is ridiculous. I voted for the first time since 2012 to prevent that debacle from happening.
