Giuliani was highly visible after 9/11. The heroes were the first responders who risked their lives to save others.

Giuliani is a toad. I hope he has to pay Nathan every penny she's asking for.

He was a SOB when she married him. She was running around with a married man. Makes her no better than him.

Rudy was and is overrated as a politician. At the time 9-11 happened he was a lame duck mayor going out on a down note (folks forget 9/11 was Election Day there for the mayoral race) with a very public break up of his marriage, health issues, and some very public spats, politically.

9-11 gave him an unexpected opportunity to rehabilitate himself and paint himself as a hero. Nevermind his refusal to upgrade the radio systems for first responders well before 911, as well as his brazen try to run for a 3rd term - which the NYC people turned down.

"Nathan’s lawyer revealed she’s seeking $63,000 in spousal support on top of housing costs for six homes and incidental expenses—including membership fees for multiple country clubs—as the divorce proceeds."

I'd say it's time to downsize a home or two ..... possibly give up a country club membership?

Ghoul-iani is the 911 "scoop and dump" guy...

Firefighters: Giuliani Ditched 9/11 Body Recovery 24 Hours After Securing $230 Million In Buried Gold
The fact is that the Mayor’s switch to a scoop-and-dump coincided with the removal of tens of millions of dollars of gold, silver and other assets of the Bank of Nova Scotia that were buried beneath what was once the towers. Once the money was out, Giuliani sided with the developers that opposed a lengthy recovery effort, and ordered the scoop-and-dump operation so they could proceed with redevelopment.

You know, both parties claim to support family values. I don't know why some progressives give Republicans such flak for this. I would also add, values that are easy to meet aren't worth having.
