The precedents that Obama established in dealing with the press corp are relevant to this topic and will be mentioned frequently, repeatedly and without reserve.

Obama was a cancer on this country. Trump is the chemotherapy. Who wants to go through chemotherapy? Only somebody who is stricken with cancer, who has no other choice. Nobody else. This is where we are right now, and Obama and the Democrat left are very largely responsible for that.
Obama's tactics with the press were much more problematic than Trump's. In fact, where Obama got swooning deference from the press, Trump has been the recipient of unprecedented partisan animosity from that same press.
You can use that goofy word 'whataboutism' all you want. My response is always going to be to say, 'hell yeah, what about Obama?' The precedents he set are relevant and if the press were to treat Trump with the same deference that they treated Obama, none of these problems with the press would be occurring.
Every time you use the term 'whataboutism' from now on, I am going to go out of my way to introduce an example or a precedent by Barack Obama in response. I encourage anyone else who has no respect for this self-serving nonsense to do the same.
