That young lady is an intern; not a trained Secret Service person and undoubtedly taken by surprise. She was simply being told to take the mike from Acosta. The Secret Service would have had Acosta out of there in a heartbeat, hands behind his back. They are always somewhere around the President, maybe not in plain sight but they are there.
I think it would be more of a punishment to have AccostHer sit there during briefings, totally ignored. Unlike other presstitutes who have iPads or even old fashioned pen and pad, AccosHer is usually empty handed. If he suddenly is seen scribbling away, zoom in and I predict he will be writing, "Dear Diary..."
Why does Secret Service not run out and body slam reporters who do these things?
Maybe because as law enforcement officials they didn't see a law being broken.
