Wars have been going on since the beginning of my time for sure.
None of these horrible mass shootings like in the last say 20 yrs.
It used to be called battle fatigue. I first encountered it in the early 70s, when I worked in a nursing home and we had a Korean War vet who endlessly relived several battles he was in.
The number of WWII vets who came back to live as alcoholics and domestic abusers was not zero. Although it’s true that mass shootings were rare.
