Not to mention the irony contained therein, he has a criminal conviction of record while anyone even admitting they've ever once smoked pot in the distant past, with a clean record being denied entry...……..somewhat of a contradiction is apparent if he's granted access knowing well in advance his singular theme of preaching fear and hate towards "mooslims".
Robinson has been denied entry to the USA before on criminal grounds. Has little to do with what the UK government wishes or doesn't wish, unless the Foreign Office revokes his passport.
It's pretty silly of Yank rightwingers trying to make Robinson into a political martyr again.

Rubbish? Little to do with the UK? Then why did 50 MPs take a position on whether he should be allowed into the US or not? Under fears he'll spread an "extremist agenda?"

****ing tossers.
Yes, it has little to do with the UK, because it is up to the US government authorities to determine whether they will allow entry to Robinson upon arrival at a port of entry.
Those MPs are just stating their opinion. The US government can choose to listen or ignore their opinions.
Rather than debating the merits of what Tommy Robinson speaks out against, many try to silence him, even bringing up past legal issues in an attempt to discredit him. For those that don't know why Tommy speaks out, watch this video of a speech he gave at the Oxford Union Society.

OK, I'll bite. Tommy Robinson is a loudmouth Islamophobe with several legal violations. He's kind of a poster boy for reactionary Yanks who share his views and make him up to be a hero. Kind of like Milo Y (also a British provocateur).
Robinson had his "contempt" conviction recently overturned even by the unfair British courts. Now, Britain wants the US to essentially issue an unconstitutional Bill of Attainder against Robinson. Others might know the back story better, but it looks like the Obama Administration did this back in 2013.
Why is the Left so afraid of free speech? If his speech really is horrible and wrong, then he'll just look like a jerk and be treated as such.
Unlike Britain and Europe and the rest of the world, we allow free speech...enter and speak your mind Tommy!
