Simple, isn't it?

FWIW, it's my understanding that the book is about her life as a whole - a memoir - and the portion devoted to 2016 is relatively small. For her to say nothing about it at all would be quite strange, I think.

There is nothing unusual about a former First Lady writing a book.
Another narcissist who thinks their mediocre life is worth publishing.

Ahh. You are talking about the thing started by Hillary against Obama in 2008.

Of course if she said it now, she'd hurt book sales.

It wasn't, out here in the real world, that is. However, it was your short-fingered vulgarian who rode that talking point to prominence.

Oh and yest it did originate with Hillary. They threw someone under the bus when it was traced back to them. This is how the Clintons work.

Blitzer: Someone supporting Hillary Clinton was trying to promote this so-called Birther issue? What happened?
Doyle: So we — absolutely, the campaign nor Hillary did not start the Birther movement, period, end of story there. There was a volunteer coordinator, I believe, in late 2007, I believe, in December, one of our volunteer coordinators in one of the counties in Iowa — I don’t recall whether they were an actual paid staffer, but they did forward an email that promoted the conspiracy.
Blitzer: The Birther conspiracy?
Doyle: Yeah, Hillary made the decision immediately to let that person go. We let that person go. And it was so, beyond the pale, Wolf, and so not worthy of the kind of campaign that certainly Hillary wanted to run.

If writing one's memoirs is a sign of narcissism, there is a very long line of offenders in the annals of literature.

Well this one happens to be fully engaged in narcissism and married to a class 1 narcissist whose favorite pronoun is "I" and who named his dog after him, BO.

I don't think there's anything mediocre about serving as First Lady, and that's true whether the First Lady is Michelle Obama or Melania Trump. They are both part of a very small group of women who have shared this honor.
