Good point. You just never know. In fact, Trump should never appear in public again. Too risky.

If this was such a big concern, best course of action would have been to stay in the U.S., non?
Or, at minimum, not attend any of the public events.

Interesting that those threats didn’t stop him from venturing out to see his pal Putin.

Interesting that in their hate for Trump, the lefties don't even care that there were people making plans to take out Macron, and maybe others.

Now, liberals don’t watch the news? So odd.

That being said, got any links to back up the assertion that this is the reason Trump didn’t attend?

Not odd at all: The MSM is not the news.

Perhaps you missed the post where I was so concerned for Trump’s safety that I suggested he cancel all public appearances going forward.

Your source for this interesting...story is the Daily Mail? A paper that is considered tabloid media, much like the National Enquirer, in the UK? Wikipedia won't even allow as a credible source. When they - a site that isn't known for their meticulous vetting of information - won't allow something as a source, you might want to rethink believing what you read there.

From what I have read, the French intelligence was aware of these people. They were tracking them and busted them on Nov 6th, days ahead of the world leaders coming to France, they were aware of their plot. I'm sure our intelligence services should be just as good if not better than theirs. I'm sure our intelligence was aware of that situation, and thought it was safe for the president to go over there.
