It just doesn't seem reasonable that Trump would refuse to attend a WW1 ceremony due to rain. I'd like to see an update from a credible source. Even for Trump that seem ridiculous.

He is the epitome of white trash. Yes, he has money but he remains white trash. He appeals to them, he talks like them, eats like them, thinks like them and accordingly they vote for him. Sad.

He was to go by helicopter. The weather canceled it. If the secret service doesnt approve the route he doesnt go. Do some research. Doesnt matter what the other heads of state do. The SS has final say. Always been true.

It looked no better than a drizzle. Pardon me if I call BS on your claim.

He's meeting with Putin, instead. In the privacy of their hotel room.

Ben Rhodes (@brhodes) Tweeted:
I helped plan all of President Obama’s trips for 8 years. There is always a rain option. Always. https://t.co/exZNlONQOp https://twitter.com/brhodes/status/1...107250688?s=17

Just a little more from the WaPo article:

Ben Rhodes, the deputy national security adviser under President Obama, noted he helped plan Obama’s foreign travel throughout his two terms and said it was common to have a backup plan to deal with inclement weather.

“There is always a rain option. Always,” he wrote in a tweet. “Trump will use the U.S. military for a pre-election political stunt but sits in his hotel instead of honoring those who fought and died for America.”

That shouldn't be too hard. Is the weather report not available in your neck of the woods? What about the footage of the ceremony? Are you able to watch that and see the weather situation for yourself? Would you really rather wait to hear from Trump and take his word on the true weather?
