OMG — the Dems’ Russia collusion hoax fizzled out, then they tried to get us to believe Kavanaugh was a serial raper, and that fizzled out, so now it’s republicans are partisan arsonists trying to burn up democrat run states.....

(The consequences of liberals running our education system are in full bloom here...)

The areas where there is more Right Wing concentration seem not to have as much issue with fires.

There's a reason most of these events happen during strong dry off-shore wind events (such as Santa Anas).
There is an unsubstantiated rumor going around that according to radio transmissions, PG&E is responsible for sparking the Camp Fire.

I know that doesn’t feed into the RWNJ agenda...

These are the classsical CA fires driven by very dry conditions and high winds.

In actual fact it is not the actual start of the fire that is the problem. It is that the fires are hot and are spreading embers with the winds starting hundreds of fires. The whole town of Paradise was burning in a very few minutes from flying embers.

So what is actually going on is hundreds to thousands of independent fires all creating new ones.

And the range of these flying embers is so large that fire breaks are ineffective.

I read that, as well. And wouldn't be surprised. Winds the morning of the fire were very strong. Winds were gusting on Mt. Diablo in the 60mph range.

We had a ton of fires in Utah too this year. Does the theory hold there?

It's the West. Very common and several reasons why they happen.

So what if, instead of conservatives setting fires in California, it's actually the resident liberals themselves setting fires, so that they can float the conspiracy theory that conservatives are setting fires in California. #X-Files
I thought the areas the fires are happening at, are mostly Republicans, or at least Conservative Democrats, and not ultra liberals. Liberals like highly populated areas and big cities, the conservatives tend to be the ones that like to be out with nature and in farm country.

That's a ridiculous suggestion.

On the other hand, if San Francisco burned to the ground tomorrow, or cracked off into the ocean, I might take that as a sign of divinity.
