They really do need to look into thinning the forests that are prone to fire, which would create lots of tangible lumber jobs.

With the shortage of lumber that business and construction firms had to deal, it would be a good time for the federal government look into thinning fire-prone forests.

This is going on far to long and it's partly because of the radical left and it's environmentalist agenda.
He's such an idiot. And there is no such thing as fire prone forests.

Two later tweets seem more compassionate. Somebody fixed it for him AGAIN.

They use to manage the forest pretty well in Cali with the Smokey the Bear campaign in the 50's - the 70's and in came the tree huggers. Then they stopped clearing the under brush and fallen timbers.

trump should just shut it on this one. this fire tore thru an area that was heavily burned just 10 years ago.

forest thinning would not have stopped the Camp or the Tubbs. Fueled by dry grass growing amid scattered pine and oak trees, the Camp tore across land thinned by flames just 10 years ago. The Tubbs burned grassy oak woodlands, not timber land.

In Mexico, just about everything is built with concrete, wouldn't concrete construction minimize the damage?

I saw a photo of a mansion on fire in Malibu! Now go figure! Whoever built that house, given the money they have, why oh why didn't they build it with solid concrete construction?

And our powerful, lobbying lumber companies laugh all the way to the bank because they know all too well that fire trap will be replaced by yet another fire trap.

"I know more about forest management than the forest managers, believe me!"--
Donald J. Trump, probably.

Iv'e read it is NOT necessarily the number of tress but, the debris from the trees on the ground which serves as fuel for the fires.

President Trump to California on forest fires and ". Remedy now, or no more Fed payments"

This really illustrates how out of touch that lecherous old scam artist has become in his sunset years. Trump would get failing grades in Middle School for some of the things he thinks.

The professionals disagree with your statement blaming this on forest management.
