Without the Senate and White House they won't actually accomplish anything, except to sell more guns and ammunition, maybe even more than Obama was able to sell.

I wonder how many more states will pass laws saying they will ignore federal laws that violate the 2nd amendment? Several have already. It's nice that liberal states like California and WA have set the precedent that it's Ok to pass laws that are in direct opposition to federal law.
Continue your anti-liberal rant, OP. What's your solution? Because the nothing the Republicans have been doing has been accomplishing exactly that: nothing. So pull that secret peace plan out from under your mattress. And while you're at it, give us the details about our brand new, "improved" health care plan that's replacing Obamacare. What, you don't have any plans ready? The Republicans got nothing? I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked.

So I guess you and yours have no room to criticize ANYONE proposing solutions to stopping these needless massacres. That is, unless you think we should allow them to continue happening. Do you?

Any bill any conservative tries to pass will not happen. For anything to pass now, they will have to actually work together, for the good of the country. Think that can happen? We're all in real trouble, if it doesn't.

Homicide rate has been declining for 30 years. About 3% of all gun deaths are the result of these "massacres" you are talking about (assuming you mean mas shootings). They are tragic, but not the epidemic you are trying to make them out to be.

Most gun deaths are gang-related, which stems from the war on drugs. End that and you should see the homicide rate drop significantly.

Default House Democrats plan aggressive gun control effort

Lmao right! Even if Democrats had all 3 branches packed to he rafters of gun-hating progressive Liberals, their illogical gun laws aren't going to stop or even mitigate mass shootings.

So basically you are saying nothing short of an outright ban on firearms will even mitigate mass shootings?

Why would you think a total ban would work at all?

Look at heroin...its totally illegal everywhere, but numerous states have major heroin epidemics going on right now....so how is this even possible since its totally banned?

I don't, nor would I advocate a ban. It's also not as cut and dry as the quoted poster was suggesting.

Frankly, I don't know what to do to make the masses happy and neither does anyone here or we'd be out doing it instead of here arguing about it..
