AOC isn’t entitled to a pass on scrutiny just because she’s cute, young, and a Democrat. She’s receiving very much the same attention that any new, outspoken, driven politician receives when they enter office with strong enthusiasm and ideas. She clearly enjoys the media attention, and manages her own response to it with aplomb. She doesn’t need henchmen beating people down on her behalf on Internet forums.

Id rather not have any temporary power junkie making decisions for me and they are all temporary. How many congress persons have any skin in your game or are held accountable for the negative outcomes of their bills, schemes, laws, etc. while in or out of office?
The biggest setback any of them suffer is a loss of power if not re-elected, but shed no tears they can always turn lobbyist, consultant, media pundit.
OC isnt any more or less qualified than the next, unless you believe DC is populated with experts or altruists. (and there is plenty of evidence showing that is simply not the case). Besides large scale grifting, what skill set does a Pelosi or McConnell have?

Lol... now the backtracking begins. This thread isn't specifically about AOC despite your thread title specifically saying that she was slapped down? Including Tlaib doesn't change the fact that you've narrowed your focus down to very specific people vs covering the whole progressive movement, freshmen reps in general, or any other broader scope that you could plausibly use for cover.
