Even if she did leak it, she leaked it knowing some idiot nobody on the right would make a fool of himself by trying to use it against her, and sure enough, some idiot nobody on the right used it against her and made a fool of himself.

Taking the bait is always worse than handing someone bait.

nope, not in our CONSTITUTIONAL republic

You sound like conservatives in the 1970's who wailed about how bad smog devices and seat belts were on cars. Well guess what -- cars today run better, make more power and are cleaner with computers and emission controls than without. And no one with credibility disputes the life saving benefits of seat belts.

Congress mandated these changes and it is constitutional. In the same way, if they want to pass laws mandating a Smart Grid or put on a carbon tax, they can. It's 100% constitutional.

Conservatives always resist change and they fear the future. More often than not they are proven wrong by history. They will be proven wrong about climate change.

So, OP, please explain what your idiot meant in these quotes:

And that was up till a month ago. She's made a bunch more staggering bloopers since then

Well, not exactly waitressing. She was a bartender for four years. Yep, since graduating from college. That's all she qualified for. Then goes straight to Congress.
I live only 20 miles east of her district. The people there are low education, low income, government-dependent. Most even dumber than she is. They elected her because she promised them everything for nothing. And because she's Hispanic.

Yeah, she's doing such a great job. Boston University has DISASSOCIATED itself with her!

https://unbearablenewsnetwork.com/bo...ocasio-cortez/

“Alexandria’s recent comments have raised concerns about her credentials. While we do encourage socialism in our curriculum, her lack of basic understanding of history, current events, and most especially economics has been a cause for alarm. Faculty and staff are concerned that her highly publicized ignorance could result in damage to the university’s reputation.â€
“It’s clear that her association with Boston University could prove to be problematic given her continuous assertions that she graduated here with honors in areas that should have educated her on these very topics.â€

OP??? You still there????
You are linking us to satire news sites and claiming it's real...Another moron comes out of the cave of hubris..

The Democrat party is just one big meme these days.

Bimbo? She isn't the one taking corporate bribe money. Rethuglicans as well as most democrats are the biggest whores on the planet who happily put on their spiked heels and fishnets every night, while getting on their knees to suck off their paymasters every chance they get.
Apparently you and Cortez had the same math teacher. Closing tax loopholes and rescinding the tax cut will bring in about two trillion dollars over 10 years. Meanwhile, her medicare for everyone plan over the same 10 years is going to cost 32.6 trillion, so you're already over 30 trillion short, and we haven't even started on her other moronic schemes like this one.

Default Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

https://www.atr.org/ocasio-cortez-ta...te-new-yorkers

Quote:
In an upcoming 60 Minutes interview, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) will call for federal income tax rates of up to 70 percent as part of a proposal to create vast new government spending programs.
This means that in NY and CA, when you include state and local taxes, some people will be paying over 80% in taxes. Thats just absurd, regardless of how much money anyone makes. The federal government does not have the right to take 70% of anyone's income, taking ~30% is questionable, especially considering how wasteful they are with it.

Add up all the taxes you pay, not just Fed, State, and Local Income Taxes. You will find you are already paying 50% or more in total Tax Burden. Property taxes, sales taxes, gasoline taxes, alcohol taxes, utility taxes, government fees, surcharges and tolls for things you taxes SHOULD cover.
