Nice try. The Senate is not going to do the right thing no matter what comes out in the Mueller report. This is the Republicans last time to hold power for at least a generation and they are going to milk it for all they can.

For Democrats the only legitimate election is when they win otherwise in their mind the candidate who won must have cheated. Many people believe it's also projection.... Democrats cheat so if they lose, they project their actions onto the winning party.

To answer your question, the media folks have no source aside from their imaginations. Think of them as Neo-Novelists.
By the liberal media telling their viewers he will be impeached it helps them keep their viewers tuning in for ratings. The talking heads oblige to put out this rhetoric because as long as they keep viewership up, they'll get that next multi-million dollar contract.

1. there is not going to be any impeachment, since there has not been a impeachable offense
2. Mueller's investigation, will show that Trump himself had nothing to do with any type of collusion with Russia
3. Mueller's report will show that some of trumps people did illegal things years before trump was a candidate, it will also show that bill and hitlery, along with obozo did in fact collude with Russia, china and SA
4 once Mueller's report comes out, the liberals are toast..why do you think liberals (to include here on CD) are calling for their own investigations...to pad the fall, and show "THEY DONT TRUST MUELLER", that way they can keep up the investigation/impeachment rhetoric once they have been shown to be up to their necks in the garbage they are accusing trump on
