FL AG pam bondi received $25,000.00 for her campaign illegally thru the trump foundation...... just before she decided to drop the investigation into "trump U".
I guess I came on too strong but there are so many Trump enablers who will believe anything he says and justify anything he does that making a comment that seems to impugn the professional motivation behind these judicial investigations can just throw fuel on the fires of Trump's supporters...
What Underwood is doing SHOULD have been done decades ago
I am sure that people in the area of FL or NY where Trump did most of his "charity work" saw stories and heard stories about what was going on
Anyone in city/state politics that had dealings with him likely knew first hard that he was a grifter but that worked to their advantage so I doubt they confessed what they were doing in collusion with him...
His life is an object less o how someone so sleezy can escape punishment for so long...
Sad to say... And now he has wound up in the WH
His case is worse than Grant who at least was a capable general even if he was a drunk because his success was built on the dead bodies of his men...supposedly...
You are absolutely right on this point as well, that this should have been done decades ago. Perhaps the feeling is that Trump is now in a position to do far more damage.
Several people close to the president have said that Donald Trump is "very worried" about the Trump Org investigation in NY, and it poses a much bigger threat to Trump and his family than even Mueller does.
But Underwood’s complaint includes illegal self-dealing by Donald Trump dating back to 2007, when he used the foundation’s cash to settle lawsuits by his private business.
Normally, a three or six-year statute of limitations would apply to those violations, but the NY AG successfully argued that the “continuing wrong doctrine” applies to Trump’s illegal use of his charity since they allege a continuous and pervasive failure to operate the foundation.
Another lawsuit and con. An average day for the con businessman and president. Are people really surprised? We know who he is, he showed us. Believe him.
