This is part of the beauty of bring a nation armed to its teeth. First it's "why weren't there good guys with a gun to stop the bad guys," then it's "why did the good guy have a gun when the police got there." It's not like this is a football play with timing and a referee. I would expect more of this.
I'm almost certain that the mall has cameras in every wing of the shopping center, right? Maybe that video will be released after the investigation is concluded.
Im sure the cops will say they saw the video and it showed nothing, but they wont let the video get out until everyone forgets about it.
We can't know this yet until we find out the race of the shooting officer and then ignore it if he's not white.
Or downplay it if it's in an area that is fully democratic.
These points are reality, my personal views are that police should be held accountable for egregious acts and should ALL be wearing bodycams at all times.

I'd rep you so many times if I could! The race of the perp is not a factor. It's the race of the victim. People of color can be and often are the greatest protectors of white supremacy. Racism is the product of white supremacy...which is a SYSTEM.
