He might be among the 100 who were detained for carrying dangerous objects like fireworks or clothing that could be used as protection in clashes with police. They are checking the ID's now. Sounds like a Frenchman though.

It's about to get worse -- not just for France, but for all of them. It's not just the Paris Treaty and higher Taxes the poor must pay - it's also the unending Migration and lack of assimilation of the Migrants.

The Big UN Migration Meeting is Monday & Tuesday.

The Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, will be held in Marrakech, Morocco on 10 and 11 December 2018. |UN.org

Emmanuel Macron’s next fight could be his toughest yet |Spectator UK

France is burning and Macron’s presence on Monday at the United Nations intergovernmental conference in order to sign France up to the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration could add to the conflagration.

The United Nations states that the global compact “comprises 23 objectives for better managing migration at local, national, regional and global levels”. The document has been more than two years in the making and its aim is to help the 258 million migrants around the world living outside their country of birth. According to the UN website, the Compact will address “the legitimate concerns” of the host countries while creating “conducive conditions that enable all migrants to enrich our societies through their human, economic and social capacities”.

This "global compact" has caused some deep divisions - USA, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic all refusing to put their names to the document; the issue has also caused deep fractures within Belgium’s fragile coalition government. Macron of course is going to sign on to this "open migration" compact ..... he will leave a burning Paris to do so.

The optics are not good. The prognosis is not good. These MOBS are uncontrolled now & likely to spread through France and other EU Nations. Most of the populace does NOT want these UN schemes.
(hint - NON means NO )

Remember how excited liberals HERE were that Macron was elected just because he was “anti Trump?” How did that work out?

Speaking of Trump, he gets it right yet again.

What taxes is Trump talking about, the Paris Accord is a voluntary agreement to cut pollution and emissions, it does not dictate taxes in any way shape or form.

As for those rioting they are now a mixture of the left, right and anarchistr groups.

The French police should try using Kettling tactics in terms of entral Paris, as protestors don't generaly like being contained in very cold weather and to have their photos and named taken before thay are allowed to leave.

Kettling - Wikipedia

Generally riots tend to happen when the weather is good, and rain and other cold weather tends to curtail rioting. December and the run up to Christmas is a very strange time to be having such riots.
