Liberals tax the poor in many ways. Tobacco and alcohol are taxed at higher rates, and plenty of poor people end up paying this tax. Some places have a tax on soda and sugary products. Again, these are products consumed by the poor. Regressive taxes are an idea and policy frequently supported by leftists to discourage certain behaviors. Meaning they want to manipulate the masses via taxation.

They are not taxes that directly tax the poor to benefit the "rich".

The answer is rich people mainly from the right. He can't seem to say that. People will never get tired of blaming the "opposite" party. However, people in power are beyond party slogans.

I think this is a lesson for expression so strongly things like EU army, and sovereignty. Macron already gave in to most of people's demands, and they keep insisting that he resigns. France and Germany are becoming too friendly for US/UK liking.

Here is what he said exactly:

Uh, you don't equate this with why "some' of these people" are 'poor'?
Poor, as not being able to subsist on low incomes while many others do?

Agree with you. It is because of Trump’s tax cuts for the rich.

We both mentioned taxes in our posts.
If you want to deny the obvious it would be fruitless to offer anything more and a waste of time.

Carry on !!!
