Europeans travel by high speed rail. They love socialism. Democrats assure me.
Where do I put my 15' extension ladder an Job Box. Do they drop me off at the door, or am I going to need to walk, Packing a 600-lb tool chest and ladder?
Street riots are a long and proud tradition in Venezuela and France.
Here, we wave flags, don attire and march in great numbers. That's our way.
There, in both those countries, the first thing that happens is the barricades form from assorted trash, dead cars and old tires, the torches come out, and the fighting begins with rocks and bottles.
Despite all the uproar and the fighting, the violence is seldom lethal. Everyone on either side wants a bump or bruise to show off, but they don't want to kill each other, so they don't.
I like our way better. If we were to adopt France's way, we wouldn't use rocks on each other. We would pull out the guns and there would be massive slaughter.
Now that kind of gunplay might seem like it's good thing to you, but once your best friend, or your wife or daughter catches a bullet, that notion will change pretty fast.
You never know who's going to show up once a riot starts. There's always a lot of folks coming to only fetch up their people and drag them home before they get hurt. That's why the French don't go to killing each other with guns instead of using rocks and bottles.
The French must take to the streets and riot every now end then. Nothing wrong with it. It’s what they’ve always done. It’s good for a nation to ventilate every so often. Sometimes your government won’t listen unless some hell is raised.
Americans think it’s preposterous because we’re accustomed to taking it up the giggy without a fight. Our elected officials don’t even bother to listen to their constituents. GM gets a big fat tax cut and sends 15,000 people packing. Guarantee you they would’ve NEVER tried that if they were in France. Trust and believe that s__t!

Ask a Frenchman. He'll probably tell you to stash them where the sun don't shine.
Just another example of how the far left think it's okay to act like rabid chimpanzees when they don't like something.
Sure. Get mad at the French for having guts.
You oughta be ashamed that Americans won’t get off their lazy behinds and riot too. That smirk on Mitch McConnell’s face is him saying that he’s gonna take care of your boss, but YOU can go suck an egg. And if you don’t like it, tough doodoo. What are you gonna do about it? Oh yeah...nothing.
It's just Paris, whenever the French are a bit annoyed they have a good old fashioned protest/riot, although sometimes it gets out of hand.
I am sure Macron has got the message regarding fuel prices.
Any time I view these type of protests in other parts of the world, I know I'll never live long enough to see a similar protest in this country. Sheesh! The police go bonkers here even when protesters attempt to block a freeway ramp for 10 minutes!
I love the Bolivian protests the best! Roll boulders onto the roads throughout the country, or block the roads with upturned cars, and it sure as hell gets the attention of their leaders! And, they usually win!

It's totally up to France as to how they impliment taxes and Macron is becoming ever more unpopular.
Other countries are taking a different approach, such as encouraging green energy through incentives, and tax breaks. Green renewable enery is actually cheaper than traditional energy sources.
In terms of diesel it's being phased out in most countries anyway, so why punish haulage companies and motorists with such massive tax increases, and car companies have in many countries been offering diesel scrappage schemes. Companies such as Audi are offering £8,000 off a new car as part of diesel scrappage, and disel cars in most countries are declining. Indeed Diesel sales declined by nearly 40% in the UK over the last few years.
Simply phase the diesel vehicles out due to the fact they don't meet emmission standards, which means you will have to buy something different when you come to renew your vehicle. Most of the car manufacturers are already producing electric and hydrogen vehicles, and they are eventually going to replace traditional fuels.
It's always better to try and use a carrt rather than a stick to encourage such change.

You do not have to catch all of them. Get a few of the arsonist anarchists red handed 100% guilty with overwhelming proof and go hardcore charges on them with NO plea deals.
20 years served in prison can be a deterrent. The whole mess is being greatly increased by dedicated people who are terrorists so treat them like it.
