Its likely one may not understand the least bit about OSHA.... I refer to it frequently, because they are dedicated to "employee safety".. maybe one should go back and review the history of labor and safety.. to learn why OSHA is important, and the system of Cal-OSHA is even more detailed in its focus on employee safety, DOT and ANSI and such agencies are a benefit to America, as too is the Board of Labor. these exist as civil society attributes that are a benefit to society far and beyond a few people crying and whining about Tax dollars, just because they don't like something, which has benefit to far more people than to be concerned about a few whiners who hate the principle of taxes, because they can't dictate what to deny to others. Safety Standards Saves Lives!!!! if you want to be a dare devil type, that's on you, but many people have families they care about as well as themselves, and they care to have safety as a priority in the workplace and every other aspect of life.

As to Tax... that's a fact of life in any Civilized Society.... Why people think systems of civil and civic society should exist for free is actually pathetic.

These people talking about someone telling them how to live is absurd... the only people trying to tell others how to live is the claimed Conservatives, telling women what she can do with her body, wanting to tell gay people what they can and can't do, and always pushing some madness aimed at minorities, but ignoring that public assistance helps more non minority people than it does minority people.

It become even more important in the climate of today, that people understand the Political Party, that support programs which consider people and invest in ways to assist, protect and make provisions that benefit society.

When anything is built to develop and promote "seamless" programming, then one would understand that very few seams are made without some overlap and bonding mechanisms... But... one would have to have a concern to care, into order to understand such things. Thankfully, our government invest to study what it choose to act upon, create, develop and maintain and manage.

There's places around the world that are under-developed, that people who detest what makes a developed society, can certainly seek out and try and move there... if they feel they are so constrained living in a governed system that continues to develop.

If we did not have regulations, some greedy people would go to a Lake with a drag net, trying to scoop up all the fish. people would still be setting bear traps in every forest area were there might be bears... we'd still have people driving with big rock throwing tires on their vehicles with no concern to put Mud Flaps on it.

The military is designed to kill the enemy and blow stuff up basically. Leadership and planning in the military will transfer into civilian life easily. If you never advance past the "go over there, point your gun and shoot" part of the military then you probably never would have gotten past a "do you want fries with that" civilian job.

Basically everything else you mention is not under the purview of the federal government. Look at the Article 1, section 8 of the Constitution for the 18 enumerated powers. Some of these should be left to the state. Most should be the responsibility of the people.

Article 1, Section 8 - The feds are responsible for "post roads". In this case, interstate and US highways. State highways are the responsibility of the state obviously. There are also county roads and city streets as well.

All other infrastructure like water systems are the responsibility of the city or however that location is governed. Rail and electricity are mostly private enterprises.

Audit the fed and get back on the gold standard. It may take just as long as it did for us to get into this situation but without a change, we are just playing with Monopoly money.
Just where would you get over $20+ Trillion in Gold to pay off the National Debt, and where would you then get the Gold to underwrite the Existing Currency in Circulation? Explain that, then you can talk about returning to the Gold Standard.

Strange. My taxes went through the roof in NY. Yet.
Nobody benefitted... no public services. Garbage was a cost that was out of pocket.
No street lights.
Horrible roads...
So where'd the money all go? Welfare? I can't charge you 15k for work and not deliver.
Or do shoddy work. If I do work. Yet you justify this practice... if businesses operated like the government that you want crave desire and preach about, this nation would be bankrupt.

Wrong. Cityiot busy bodies are who go around telling others how to live.
Rural folks live and let live and don't go running to the cities to tell you how to live do they?-Nope they dont.
