We've been talking about child abuse and how to prevent child abuse for decades.
It's not like nobody thinks child abuse happens or is terrible. It's not like they don't try to stop it from happening.
Just because women are finally standing up and saying they are not okay with being raped, abused, and molested, that does NOT mean that they don't care if children are abused.

Its political. Adults have a means to “stand up” and leave. Children dont. Now, hand over the spotlight.
And I remember the religious right trying to crucify her for that song as they had no clue what the song was about. There have been numerous songs about child abuse and yet it still happens every day. Sad.

Yea, there were a LOT of people who just didn't listen to the lyrics in that song. It was brutally self explanatory. Those who prey on children are fleabag varmints and both need and deserve killing.
