He was a tremendous personality and an extremely bright and intelligent man. Somehow he reminds me very much of Ronald Reagan.

I have no problem with that as I too am for your right to keep and bear arms. Got no argument with him on that. My thing about him is that he went from being pro gun to being a mouthpiece for the Republican Party.

Socialist economies certainly aren't a conservative ideal. Plus, reading some of your other posts in the past make me believe you lean left. I'm not saying I haven't agreed with you on other things, but, my opinion is that you lean a lot leftward than right. Why else would you hate Mr. Heston anyway?

Well said. It takes a certain level of arrogance not to mention venom to sling mud normally reserved for tyrants at a dead actor who, by all accounts, was a pretty decent human being for the most part.

In defense of GregW when it comes to 2nd amendment rights Greg has posted his support for them,which Heston was a advocate for also.

I don't know what GregW 's beef is with Heston on other regards are but...
