Human trafficking is a form of slavery. It happens when a person is forced or tricked into working in dangerous and illegal conditions or having sexual contact with others against their will. A person who is trafficked may be drugged, locked up, beaten, starved, or made to work for many hours a day. Girls and women are the most common victims of sex trafficking.
Traffickers control victims by:
Threatening to hurt them or their families
Threatening to have them deported
Taking away their passports, birth certificates, or ID cards
Making them work to pay back money they claim is owed them
Giving them drugs in order to create an addiction or control them and then making a them perform sexually to get more drugs
Preventing them from having contact with friends, family, or the outside world

Many of the young girls involved were from unstable families of very limited means. Their back stories are quite sad - Epstein took full advantage of their increased vulnerability because of this, and in no way should these young women be blamed for his actions.
Honestly, finding a notable liberal or conservative politician in this country* who has not had any sex scandals associated with them and it was proven to be false (all of the scandals). That is, where they were participated in the event. If it was a case of their spouse cheating on them but they didn't cheat on their spouse, that doesn't count.
*"notable" is subjective. However, for the sake of this post, "notable" can mean a person that many people have heard about but I have not.

You know, I am not a fan of the death penalty. But at this point, as more and more details of this story leak out, I am changing my tune: I would like to see at least a dozen people involved in this situation put up against a wall....Epstein, some of his people, their enablers in the "justice" department, lawyers........ plenty of people qualify.
Nothing's ever going to change without drastic action. NOTHING. Having some executions televised, so everybody can see, just might make be a start.

If you execute people for a non death crime, then you are upping the ante on the victim.
If the penalty for rape, in any situation, becomes death then where is the "motivation" for the offender to keep the victim alive? Why not just kill the victim and remove the witness?

They did the same thing in 2016. Hillary gets caught illegally handling classified emails and obstructing justice, they accuse Trump of colluding with the Russians. The media takes it and runs with it every time. They are servants to the Dems whenever things get hot
