When Manafort was spying for Trump and Giuliani, could team Mueller have been been feeding him informed to prove they conspired?
The Crime-Fraud exception would then allow team Meuller to go after Trump & his attorneys.
That's one theory. The timing was interesting because Mueller voided Manafort's agreement right after he received Trump's written responses. It could have well been a set up.

So Manafort, and Gates meet with Kilimnik to discuss trading election assistance with getting rid Russian sanctions, and then lied about it.

Rick Gates fully cooperating seems to be playing a major part of Mueller's case.
If the republican Senate were to put country before party (I doubt they would), Trump pardoning Manafort should immediately trigger impeachment discussions. Not impeachment proceedings, but at least start some talks of it.
