The irony of course being that CNN has recently been reporting on the alleged rise of anti-Semitism in Europe (It was there all along folks). They even had an op-ed recently that tried to blame it on Trump in a veiled way which I thought was tenuous.
Regardless, when they're pushing an entire meme of Trump emboldening racism, bias etc. and have one of their own jump in even further they're hands are pretty much tied imo.
P.S. The guys Farrakhan ties and pretending to not know or acknowledge both his and the NOI's racism is just further proof.
Without specific examples, I can't comment intelligently. Are there other news/media folks advocating for ethnic cleansing of Arabs in Israel? If so, they should get canned, too.
This thread is about Hill, specifically.
He didn't come out and explicitly say "I want Israel eliminated". However, saying he would like to see a "free Palestine from the river to the sea", is pretty obvious. The nation of Israel is in between the Jordan River and the sea. If that geography becomes a "free Palestine", how does it also remain the nation state of Israel? Also, as I said earlier, essentially borrowing a phrase used by Hamas and other terror groups didn't help dissuade the notion that he was simply advocating for "justice", whatever that means.
I haven't seen a full transcript of the speech, however. Have you? Maybe there is other context for the quotes I've seen published.
IF his comments were truly innocuous, I have a hard time believing CNN would have severed ties.
Saying that you want Palestine to be free from river to sea isn’t anti Semitic whatsoever. Because it ISN’T free between river to sea right now for every human living in that aforementioned area.
And there’s nothing wrong with quoting Hamas. So what? Why should I have anything against Hamas anyway?
BTW, you know exactly what the word justice means. Hill didn’t misapply that word in any way. He’s just taking sides just like you’re taking sides.
hahahaha That you don't know and are on a political forum is hilarious. Granted Ive read you posts so I shouldn't be surprised.
Lying about transparency. Lying about not going to war. BSing about the economy. To name a few

Because it is a bigoted comment to say you want your freedoms. For some reason. A reason I can't understand at all. This is just the Israel firsters flexing their muscles.
If you apologize when you're saying the truth, you become part of the charade and propaganda of the establishment. Never say you're sorry unless you feel you were wrong. Saying sorry just to appease your oppressor is that a dog does, not a man.
That's precisely correct.
Denying reality under threat or use of force is accepting slave status because it is accepting that another party has complete control of your mind, and moreover that you ware willing to cede that control. Never deny reality.
George Orwell well-taught us this first-principle.
Being able to articulate the truth of what is in front of your eyes is a primary characteristic of a free person. It follows that only modern slavers would compel other parties to deny fundamental reality. If they are successful, then that is a sign to them that you are successfully broken. Once your mind is broken, everything else is pointless if you consider yourself to be human.

That's incorrect. It's about Hill, and more specifically (than what you stated) his statements in regard to Israel. So it is also about Israel.

If you are tying Israel's existence in with Palestinian detention (which you are), then you are defeating your own and CNN's argument. We may as well go on to tie in National Socialist Germany's existence (tell me, do Jews have more of a right to existence than Germans)? with their detention of the Jews.

So you are tying in Israel's existence with its racial / ethnic character? Moreover, you are tying that view in with what CNN supports?
My, the Leftist's and majority Jewish view, since WWII, is falling apart quickly at your deft hand. I thought you guys were against ehtnonationalism? Or is it just that you are against it for everyone else but the group(s) that you favor?
Of course, we all know your implications to be reality that is merely danced around most of the time. You're just clumsily stating it.

Quoting opponents of one group disqualifies a quest for justice?? Since when? Shall we the quest of justice for Jews because Nazis quoted them? They had violent resistance movements against the ethnonationalist state as well.
You operate from an unmoored moral position, which means you have no morality in the traditional sense that could be universally applied.

When CNN is run by the Jewish group, and that group sees anything counter to their interests as anti-Semitism, then there is nothing safe and yet impactful enough to be "innocuous". They merely run their news organization as a propaganda arm for their interests.

Are you claiming that CNN is run by "the jews"? If so, you mind sourcing that?
