The Watergate break-in was a crime.
The FBI investigated the break-in because a real crime had been committed.
In the case of the DNC e-mails, no credible evidence has been offered that would indicate the e-mail provided to Wikileaks were not accessed by someone with legal access to the server.
We skipped right over the part where the actual crime would normally be identified because this isn't about anything anyone did.

FTR, the e-mails allegedly lifted from the DNC server are not the same e-mails that were being discussed at the debate where Trump mockingly suggested that the individuals in possession of the 30k e-mails that Hillary deleted from her home-brew server (if any such persons existed) could make a lot of money by selling them to the press. Furthermore, he never requested that anyone do anything illegal. Attempting to conflate the two e-mail batches is a deliberate attempt misrepresent the facts.
You can barely go a week without the feds raiding some Chicago politician's office... but now that one who did a tax appeal for the Trump Tower got raided it's "Boy we've really got Trump this time!!1!!1!one!1!!uno!!1" (Take 13,274).

Is there anything Trump has ever done where he did not fleece something or someone? It seems he is following in his daddy's footsteps... swindles and tax evasion, and certainly the depths go into many levels hopefully the info uncovers any and all mob ties. It's already documented that he is a life long Tax Cheat, and sadly people allowed him to push through a tax cut, that is directly targeted to benefit him and his kids, because the man hates paying taxes.
So we have a Draft Dodging Tax Cheat sitting in the seat of the Nations Presidency. We have a man who would sell out anything to get to build in Russia, with a game plan to set up Putin as an advertisement figure, to try and attract and gain money from the rest of the Oligarch's by exaggerated and inflated pricing to have a unit in a building where Putin has a Unit. ..... Putin let Trump play himself out, and certainly Russian have the proposals documented, because they are a far more shrewd regime than the Trump Organization can imagine.
They have been playing him with the carrot on the stick, and he compromised America, for the pursuit of personal gain. Then had the audacity to repeated put down America, to praise Putin. This is how "greed and obsessions with money and power work to entangle the wicked".... Now the truths of collusive malice comes out like a dam has burst....

Trump tries the old game of race divisiveness as to be a distraction as it was during his daddy's days of swindles and tax scams. The old concept of playing race divisiveness as in "divide and conquer" the people, Trump tried to take it to another level, to use it to divide and conquer America. When these race bias types figure out how they have been "hoodwinked" and "deceived" through the game of racism promotions. They will figure out at some point what the Right Wing Republican system has done to them for decades through the vanity about skin color, which has benefited them nothing, and left them and their rural enclaves in pure cycles of despair and destitution. They watch as the jobs and factories vanish,Mills vanished, long held family farms are sold, and big corporate turns them into nothing more then the "indentured".... wrapped in credit debt and bleak options for economic uplift, leave them with nothing by the cycle spin of looking to blame someone based on skin color, while the Right Wing Republicans deny them when their health fails... while it has devastated the hope of their own children's future. While ensure to placate them with opioid's and other drugs, and pretend they want to help, while finding ways to pump even more powerful and deadly drugs into their youth population.
They might even come to learn that the Old Jim Crow program was not just about disenfranchising minorities, but promoting continual conflict about race, while it structurally kept the poor whites as being poor, because they were useful to promote "divisiveness", while the wealthy fleeced the nation. (This game has been played over and over since the days of Reconstruction was halted by those who wanted to continue to use "race as a divisive tactic to keep wages low and people relegated into levels of indenture and economic disenfranchisement for both minorities and poor whites. (It's long past time that the poor rural whites awaken to how they have been played, used, deceived and kept spinning in the spike and crash cycles, that have let them in the despair such a game was designed to do.)

Trump University proved that, Trump Charities proved that and everything about his proves it over and over and over..... He took the people to be his own private manipulation tool, and thought appealing to the racism as if he can recreate the madness of the pre 1964 racial divisiveness and its madness as a game plan. All a ruse to fleece the people and get them to endorse being fleeced and turn a blind eye to his game of fleecing the nation and them as his own manipulation tool.
