In the summer of '88 my girlfriend and I went to visit my uncle who lives in Kennebunkport. He took us out on his little sailboat and, as we were leaving the harbor, two big loud cigarette boats came in. We all waved to him and he gave us a big straight-armed return wave. My uncle was not actually acquainted with the VP but, being the gregarious sort, he yelled out, "Where's the red one?" Mr. Bush yelled back, "It's in the shop." My girlfriend was impressed.
94 years old? he has lived a good full life. My grandfather and father didn't make it to 62 or to collect Social Security.
