The neighborhoods that are full of public defecation and poop are also very pricey. Guess, the elite liberals have to step over poop alot of the time on their way to $10+ martini bar's, white-table cloth restaurants and avacado toast and sugary latte shops.

I lived in Capitol Hill back in 2001 before leaving the state and never ran into poop once and I walked all over the neighborhood day and night.

Not surprised as the city has gone from a moderate Democratic one with great mayors such as Wellington Webb and Federico Pena to the radical-left that is corrupt and ignores every social problem in the city.

Defecating in the street is third world behavior.

I was there a couple years ago and walked around downtown and the capital. I didn’t see the poop, but the homelessness, the mess they made, and the marijuana smoke was disgusting. I have no desire to go back.

Its becoming the norm where democrats govern. They really know their poop, like their poop and treat it like a pet. Don't be surprised if they pass a leash law to keep poop on a leash.

Nasty. Liberals pride themselves on their tolerance of poop and filth apparently. I wish they had the same level of tolerance for people who disagree with them.

Well, I always say, ''if you hang around buttholes you will get crapped on.''

The legal pot attracts 3rd world kind of people.

The homeless population has quadrupled there since legalization.

If people are going to tolerate homelessness, at least provide public restrooms for them or port-a-potties. Jeez!

I remember reading a book called Christy when I was in school, about a young woman in the early 20th Century who went to teach in the Smoky Mountains somewhere. The poor people there would just poop all over the place, and typhoid epidemics would pop up regularly. She taught them to use the outhouse or how to bury their poop if they had to go outside, and the typhoid epidemics went away.

Why do we tolerate it now?

Its the pothead trustifarians who are doing it. I was in the city a year ago and saw all the bums sleeping around on the street in November. Upon closer inspection of these individuals I noticed that some of them had to have paid more for their coats, backpacks, shoes and sleeping bags than I could afford. A sleeping bag for that weather is pricey.

The last of my family moved out last year and said the same thing. Potheads, low life's and nasty.
