But screw the people who are forced to pay $900 - $1,500.00 per month and the others who can't afford those payments lost their insurance. At least Trump got rid of the mandate that punished people who can't afford those premiums.
You got yours right <shame, shame> It's a form of welfare.... taking from one to give to you.

Shame me all you want.
I'm much less of a drain on the system if I have health insurance.
Fact is, we also desperately need health care reform.
The ACA is health insurance reform. It really doesn’t do that much about affordable care or patient protection beyond the subsidies and Medicaid.
Just wanted to say that I am very thankful for it.
I had great health insurance for 25 years through my employer. After I moved to a different state and got a new job that couldn't offer me health insurance because of geographic limitations, my only affordable option was to enroll in an ACA plan. It worked out great for me. I make 17/hour and my monthly premium is under $1.00. The deductible is high ($8,000), but regular yearly doctor visits and mammograms are covered, and generic prescriptions are fairly reasonable.
Obamacare took away the insurance I had. Made it more expensive. I have started my third year without health insurance.
NO.. Some of us pay in a lot more than others and use far less. Glad I moved out of the country. My monthly premiums for my wife and I would have been 750 a month and not for great insurance. $25 co-pay and $4000 deductible.
My anual premium where I live now for my wife and I is around $2800. 0 co-pay and 0 deductible.
You can keep the Unaffordable Care Act.
If someone chooses not to have coverage for 2019, and after that, there will no longer be a penalty/'fine'.
The penalty was eliminated, starting 1/1/19, in the last tax legislation.
Then it goes towards debt instead. The penalty elimination is progress, but we need to cut off the handouts as well. A thief who swipes my credit card isn't any better than a thief who takes my cash.
