I don't understand your point about white privilege.

Except if you dont need anything, then you just "pay in". Too bad there is absolutely no relationship between the two.

These huge deductibles are stupid and incompatible with income of those who qualify for subsidies. If you have some type of chronic health issue you can blow through that 8k every year and even with low premiums or none, like your $1, low and moderate income people cannot always afford to use the insurance.

Just making everything about race. The way of the world. Obamacare is awesome, unless you're a WASP, then you pay out the ying yang for it... I've opted to pay the penalty (thanks Obama!) every year, it's waaaaay cheaper than Obamacare.

If you find yourself in need you will be covered.

That's par for the course. I work for a Fortune 100 company with employer subsidized health insurance. I pay $200/month with a $12,000 deductible.

I'm a "WASP" and I pay less than a dollar a month.

Develop diabetes or wrap your car around a tree.

Most people don't want to have to make a withdrawal on their health insurance, but whatever makes you happy.

This, exactly. About 40% "pay in", and the rest gets to "take out" from whatever is left after the government skims off their cut. Most of the people that pay in will never see a net benefit from this legalized theft.
