I know this makes some people very upset.
I'm encouraged about trump's inclusion to the funeral and would imagine he will welcome the chance to take mental notes for future planning

Take note that although Trump has been invited to attend the Funeral of President George H.W Bush, he was not offered a speaking role.
Because everyone knows it would be all about ME! ME! ME! Has anyone ever heard Trump give a speech praising someone else that doesn't eventually (usually within the first few sentences) devolve into being all about him? I don't believe he's capable of it.

Exactly.

Grace, humility, respect, honor, civility....none of these character traits are associated with Trump.

Yet Trump has shown all of those traits during this time. This funeral could not have happened the way it is without his full support. He has the final say over important funeral details including the use of Air Force One, providing everything needed for a state funeral, and having the Bush family stay at the Blair House across the street from the White House.
So, take a look at what's happening and stop the negativity for at least another day if you can possibly help it.

One official said first lady Melania Trump, who represented the White House at former first lady Barbara Bush’s funeral in April, was struck by the Bush family’s graciousness toward her, which she conveyed to the president, who did not attend that funeral.

I am not surprised since reading~The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House

Which said that the Bush's were beloved by the White House staff, exactly because of how gracious and approachable they are!
While liberals and a few Republicans including the McCain family are consumed with perpetual anti-Trump animosity most of the rest of us are not. Good for the Bush family, they are a fine family.

CNN will lead the charge as usual.

The Rabid Left can’t help themselves. Leftist Media is In Total Hysterical Meltdown 24/7/365 days a year.
Both the Bush Family and the Trump Family will show grace and class on such a solemn occasion as this.

We won’t see a replay of the McCain spectacle & the bitterness of the McCain Family.
That was a wake up call to many.

The only good Republican is a dead Republican in the minds of liberals. They only wax poetic about the virtues of Republican politicians when the politician is dead and they can use the opportunity to smear a living Republican. The same thing happened with McCain, who the left smeared as a racist.

Liberals are purely political animals. Their methods and tactics are transparent, revolting, and grotesque. They can't even let an ex-President have a dignified funeral because they see an opportunity to claw their way back to power by using it to attack their present political opponents.
Correct. They villified Mitt Romney, one of the most decent to ever run for office. In 20 years, I could see them actually speaking glowingly of Trump.

Laura Bush posted about the Bush Family visit to the White House today.
Photo was taken in front of Former President Bush Painting- appropriately draped in mourning.

The concept of graciousness is, of course, totally alien to Trump.
