This shows you have no understanding of what generations of soldiers fought for over several wars -- the right for freedom which includes the right to disagree and express that disagreement peacefully. "Taking a knee" is a peaceful protest. Not wanting to stand up for a *song* is no big deal simply because what's important in the big picture is the US Constitution.

That so many don't understand this fundamental right is astonishing. If you read the Constitution, you'll find that everyone has the right to believe or not believe and the freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and extrapolating it out ... the freedom and right to "take a knee" if desired. Don't like it? There are plenty of countries that will be more than happy to force you and everyone else to do as they say and kill you if you dare to disagree. Syria, Pakistan, to name just two.

True patriots are those who understand what's in the US Constitution and uphold those values, not the made up butthurt ones.

The Westboro Baptist Church are extreme alt-right wingnuts.

From Wikipedia:

Westboro Baptist Church is an American church known for its use of inflammatory hate speech, especially against LGBT+ people, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, atheists, Muslims, Jews, Romani people, and U.S. soldiers and politicians.

What liberals are you expecting to act out at 41's funeral? Do you realize it was the McCain family (who are republican conservatives) who planned for the bashing of the current prez at the funeral? Do you realize that funeral was meticulously planned by John McCain himself, right down to who would speak and when. McCain's daughter gave a scorched earth speech at the funeral, as designed by her father.

The Bush family is very close to the Clinton's, with George W. calling Bill, "my brother from another mother." Clinton considered George H.W. to be like a father to him. Look it up, don't take my word for it. The Clintons attended a luncheon for Trump after he won the election. Both Bill & Hillary attended.

Perhaps you should really understand why some players knelt instead of listening to Trump and his ignorance. Do you really think they opposed patriotism. Are you pissed off at how many are getting food and beer during the anthem. Same thing

A-M-E-N! I had no problem at all with Bush Senior. George W. I had plenty against POLITICALLY, but felt both men were pretty decent men, and excellent husbands and fathers.

Just as Trump does not have one single redeeming HUMAN quality....there is not one single GOOD or NICE thing that could possibly be said at any funeral for that VILE,EVIL,CRUEL,NARICISTIC SUBHUMAN! Him, I totally L-O-A-T-H-E!

The death of H.W. Bush and John McCain provide d the world a not-so-shocking comparison of the hypocrisy of the Liberal Left that deomonizes Republicans while in office yet heaps praise on them when they're dead or dying, especially if it helps them attack the current Republican in office.

Apparently, to Liberals, the only good Republicans are dead Republicans.

Rest in peace sir. While the Libs, even in your death, bash Trump and his supporters, I know you are with your wife in a better place now.

Most modern Liberals are too young to remember either of them lol.

And I have heard Democrats speak kindly of Reagan when comparing him to Trump.
